Description

Starting from Blue Loop Spur Connector near the summit and going counter clockwise, you descend the north side of Oak Hill through a rock and root strewn trail that crosses a stone wall and goes under an arched tree remnant from the December 2008 ice storm. At the bottom of the hill, the trail then meets up with and follows the Oak Hill Boundary Trail (marked with a yellow blaze) for a few hundred feet. The Blue Loop then turns off to the left and climbs back up through a similarly root and rock strewn trail back up the start of the loop at the Blue Loop Spur connector.

This trail rides equally well clockwise and counter clockwise, and you'll have a mix of climbing and descending either way you decide to go.
