Overview

A fast, nice flowing classic northwest Florida forest ride consisting of reasonable climbs, a little sand, and hot in the summer time temperatures. This route is a purpose built underused mtb trail which does not suffer from the eroded and root laden features often seen on many other area rides. Some of the fringe benefits of this trail are the abundant opportunities to see wildlife, go for a swim in the ultra clean Juniper Creek, and get plenty of exercise on the rolling pine upland hills.

Description

The Trailhead is a little hidden on the south side of the parking area at an the incredible Red Rock swimming hole on Juniper Creek. After a putting in some miles, jumping in the creek for a swim is a fantastic fringe benefit of this trail.

This ride is generally lightly used but well maintained and has good signage. There are a number of small climbs followed by fun flowing descents along this forested loop.
