This trail skirts private property. There is obvious signage to point you in the right direction. Respect private property.

Description

This short, newer trail connects the top of Old Ranch Road Trail #4426 (Jeep Trail) with the beginning of the lower half of the Coyote Wall Trail #4428. It starts relatively flat but begins to climb rather abruptly. Because it's a true trail and not old doubletrack, the grade is a bit steeper than the Jeep Trail.

There are some additions to this trail that aren't shown on the current satellite imagery (March 2016). These are marked with small flags. It might seem a little confusing due to lack of signage but it is pretty straight forward.

There are some very new sections with little signs warning riders to stay on the trail due to restoration projects. Please respect these signs, and only ride on the designated trail.

Other than a map at the parking lot, there is no signage in the Coyote Wall Trail system. It's not too easy to get lost, but be sure to bring a map or use the MTB Project mobile app.
