Family Friendly Short and narrow allowing kids to get used to singletrack. Be mindful toward the end of the trail as there are some rocks and roots that kids will want to walk over.

Open dawn till dusk.

Description

Woodpecker Run is a great trail for families to quickly access the historic reservoir. In addition to the shorter length, there is also a great spot to enjoy the Kids in Parks Track Trail birding station.

Even if you're not inclined to stop, it is a super sweet singletrack for mountain bikers that includes a gradual climb, narrow trail and a few rocks and roots to hop over. Combine this trail with Waterline Trail and Crystal Springs Loop Trail for a great workout.
