Not a MTB destination, just a way to get to the Connector Trail. Great parking and facilities.

Family Friendly Picnic tables, playground, open area to play ball.

Description

A nice paved path to bring the family to. It has a decent hill on the West side (CW). Or make it easier with the switchback (CCW). If you have little people, you'll want to go in the CCW direction. And make sure they know how to use their brakes on the west downhill.

The bathrooms are clean and the water tastes good. Parking is much better here than at Whipple Creek. The playground is great, the swings go high, and the picnic tables are splinter free.

Heading to Whipple Creek?
At the top of the hill is the Connector Trail from Fairgrounds Park to Whipple Creek Park. Most MTB riders will be looking for that.

Not exactly where you would expect to find the Connector Trail sign. The sign sits beyond the brush against the tree line.
