Family Friendly A well-maintained doubletrack through varied forest with a couple of short, side trails.

Description

This trail is the easiest way to connect from the Uplands Trailhead into the trail network to the south. It also feeds onto Service Road 1000 which is a main arterial route through the forest.

To reach this trail follow the unmarked road through the cement blocks at the north end of the parking area down a steep gravel road and take the left. Early on Service Road 1100 passes several marked interpretive walking trails. Before the descent begins. To your left you'll pass Beaver Pond which returns to the Uplands Trailhead.
