Description

**03/11/2015 the Hood Canal Ranger District reports that Road FS 2870-230 has no trailhead parking (Lower Dungeness and Gold Creek Trailhead) due to slide damage**

When road conditions allow, this spur road is a great access point to the Lower Dungeness and Gold Creek Trailhead. The road is typically a maintained fire road doubletrack. Riders should take care and the road is open to vehicular traffic who might not be expecting riders on the road.
