Description

This is an easier trail that cuts through the Douthat State Park. Backway Hollow connects Heron Run, Salt Stump Trail, and Laurel View.

The trail descends slightly from the campground before a gentle climb (for Douthat) followed by rolling terrain. It's mostly smooth without major obstacles.
