This trail begins where the Freeride Loop ends, about halfway between the northern Powerline trail and the lake. Keep an eye out since the entrance is a little hard to locate, especially in the fall. There is a photo of the entrance with a brown stake where the stickers have all fallen off. The stake has two diamonds scribed into it, thereby differentiating it from the other non-labeled brown stakes.

This is a uni-directional trail, with traffic permitted southbound ONLY (...And you really wouldn't want to try to ride it opposite anyways).

The grade is over 15% downhill at times. Walking obstacles to investigate them is recommended before hitting this trail hard and fast. Car-sized boulders are the norm here. There is a border collie in the photos for perspective, however, I feel the photos do not do the size of the obstacles justice. Most boulders are moss covered and can be very slippery at times. Most obstacles can be rolled, many have bypasses, and only some have mild drops. The trail has very good flow considering the size of obstacles.

After 0.5mi of downhill, the trail flattens and connects to the Old Alexander Ridge Road Doubletrack trail, where you have some options on which way to go...
Taking the doubletrack west, back to the marina, there is doubletrack that also heads west to the Eastern Powerline to Lake switchback climb, or riders can cross the doubletrack and take the Davis Hollow Peninsula - Counter Clockwise (recommended).
