Palaer Forest Road to Pregrasina

From Malga Palaer take the dirt road called Palaer Forest Road. It's marked hiking trail #422B. There are some wide bends. The lower part of Palaer Forest Road is sometimes steep and paved by concrete. When you reach the first buildings of Pregrasina, the road is tarred.

If you aren't going too fast you'll find two viewpoints off to your right side: the upper is called Bocca dei Larici and the lower one is nameless, but you won't miss it. You'll get breathtaking views to Lago di Garda, 2.000' below your feet.

The road is rideable in both directions and wide enough to pass or for oncoming traffic. It is often used as a fast and easy downhill section of a Tremalzo-Riva-Ride but also for a short trip from Riva (via Ponale) to Passo Rocchetta and back on the same path.
