Description

This is a great early or late season option to get on some great trail. The trail starts from the Ferry Landing fishing access site and passes under the highway and RR bridges to start. There are a few challenging switchback climbs out of the gate, but the bulk of the trail is fast and flowy through dark pine forest along the Clark Fork River.

First ride of the year and this kicked my butt more than I'd like to admit. All trees have been removed and the ride is good to go. 8mi — 3h 00m

Wet from rain but the river was well below the trailhead. Note: this can change day to day on the Clark Fork. Ride was good saw elk and moose.

Fun, non technical trail with old growth cedars, mountain lion and bear scat. A few steep little grunts. Several downed trees. We cleared two. 35mi — 5h 00m
