Description

The Bronze Bay Trail is part of a new network of trails called Empire Trails located in Spirit Lake, Idaho.

It is a fast, winding trail that offers lots of fun, with some beautiful, scenic views. It starts off of the Lake Terrace Road and can be ridden by itself or connected to the other trails to offer and great trail route. Be ready to smile a lot on this one!

It starts off, from the top, with a smooth, fast ride, as you wind in and out of the slightly open mountain side. It then transitions into some large boulder, technical sections with some rocky trail transitions.

The ride starts opening up at from a viewpoint called Vista Point. As you ride along you'll be dumped down into a large draw where the trail swings back and forth across the draw, offering some very fun, fast, smooth riding. This portion of the trail offers some more great views of the lake valley.

It then bombs you down the last potion of the draw. Be careful near the end of the trail and slow down a bit, the trail swings left around a huge hole. (Marked on Map). You don't want to ride into this one! From here you can continue on Tesemini Trail - West heading eastward toward the parking lot, or head down to Spirit Lake Road.

From the Spirit Lake Road, you can head back, east, to the parking lot or go west and explore the vast Brickel Creek Valley.
