Typically accessible June 1st through October 1st. Inaccessible in the winter due to snow.

Description

Not typically ridden for the full trail, but used as a connector to access Copper Canyon Trail #10 or Hop Canyon Trail #25. Great views from the ridgeline to both the east and west.

The trail climbs and descends following the minor peaks along the ridgeline. The southernmost mile, used to access Copper Canyon Trail #10 from FR235, is the most rideable and best maintained. Continuing north to Hop Canyon Trail #25 is also possible, but will involve a bit of hike-a-bike.

Riding from the north is an alternative way to access Hop Canyon Trail #25. The initial descent from North Baldy is challenging and fun. However, thick growth, scree slopes and steep grades often require hiking between Trail #25A and the trailhead to Hop Canyon Trail #25.
