Do NOT ride your bike past the wilderness boundary! Either turn around or stash your bike and continue on foot.
Description
This trail starts near the main Anthony Lakes Campground and climbs into the mountains. The trail begins as a wide and fairly smooth path and will be the most traveled in the first 1/2 mile. After that, the trail becomes rockier and more challenging. Near the top, there are some sections with exposure that you need to be aware of.
At the top, you'll come to the Wilderness Boundry. This is the end of the trail for bikes and means you need to turn around unless you plan to hike-a-bike up to Angel Peak and stay out of the Wilderness to drop in on the Dutch Flat Trail.
The trail is a blast as an out and back and has some amazing views and lakes along the way.
