Description

From the 5 way junction at the saddle below Mt. Ascension, head southwest and climb a short distance. From there you take off to the west and then quickly turn back to the south. The trail descends through open meadows, tight cool fir forest and pine and juniper forest. The trail is fast-rolling singletrack, avoid the "cutoff trail" that forks right after the second meadow, the route straight ahead ends up in the same spot but is better singletrack.
