Description

One of Galbraith's premiere trails, Unemployment Line or U-line, is a machine built intermediate/advanced jump trail that has traditionally enticed newer riders with its smooth berms and many rollable features. However, annual reworking of the trail in recent years has continued to increase the difficulty.

Large park berms and over forty jumps make this an exhilarating ride. This trail features doubles, booters, and tables showcasing the dedication and passion that went into making Unemployment Line. Like any quintessential flow trail, Unemployment Line can be scalable to different rider abilities.

For newer riders it provides a smooth flowy descent with few obstacles - most obstacles are rollable, but a general rule of thumb is if it doesn't look rollable, it probably isn't. The intermediate and advanced rider can push for speed, doubles, and a few gaps while tying together sequences of jumps. The bottom third of Unemployment received a major rebuild in 201 and 201 that added massive berms, rhythm sections and three gaps. All three gaps are optional, but heads-up because they come at you in the turns.

The 'slayer drop' (qualifying feature) at the start of the trail is the only wood feature on Unemployment Line.

Lots big jumps. Lot of gappy tables and plenty of legit gaps. It's not bike park fast you'll need to pull for the backsides at times.

Frozen dirt. Rolling fast but traction was reduced a little. 0.7mi
