Description

Torry Ridge Trail is most often ridden as a descent from Bald Mountain off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The trailhead is well marked at the top of the forest road. Torry Ridge Trail intersects with Slacks Trail then Blue Loop Trail twice before the final descent to Torry Furnace. Big views offered along the length of the ridge.

This trail will challenge even the most experienced rider with plenty of terrain mixes. Rocky sections, steep sections, technical climbing, and behind the seat descending.

Very rocky throughout and full of fun technical sections. Excellent views. The uphill around mile 5 lasts longer than expected but isn't too steep.
