Starting form the lower carpark, a graveled trail leads up via switchbacks into Forrester Park. Heading clockwise, the trail circles the outside of the park above the BMX playground and around the playing fields and dog park. This is mostly very mellow riding, with occasional short steep-ish stretches and the possibility of some mud in shadier areas.

The highlight of the track is when it enters the pine forest on the south side of the park. The trail twists down fun banked turns through the very dark forest. Near the bottom, look for some jumps (which can be avoided by beginners). All in all, this is a great trail for young or beginning riders.
