Most people will ride up the Valve House trail to access Windigo. About 4 miles up you'll see the Windigo trailhead to the right just after a second cow guard. It may be hard to spot but after passing that cow guard keep your eyes peeled as you start your descent down Valve House.

This trail is flowy and can be taken at various speeds, it is great for beginners, more advanced riders will be left wanting it to last longer and be steeper, especially near the end. There is a huge tree root obstacle not to far as you come down and beware of cow pies!

The scenery is beautiful, you'll start in pines and aspens and as you come down you'll end up in sage. This is a great trail to ride once the snow has melted in the spring until the fall.
