Description

Green Gap Trail is a legacy point to point trail that is best ridden from Breon Rd to White Deer Creek Rd. It had been long neglected and almost reclaimed by the forest before it was re-opened for the TranSylvania Epic in 2014 and quickly became a local favorite.

Starting from Breon Rd, the trail is currently difficult to ride up for the first few hundred yards, but there is a plan to work with DCNR to reroute this section. As it is, the push up the trail is short with the rewards for getting up being almost a mile of sustained descending through rock chutes and and narrow bench cut trail. The first time through, take care to learn the lines as the penalty for failure is pretty high. The rewards however, are there if you want them.
