Description

The Caterpillar Trail is a smooth ascending and descending piece of singletrack connecting White Rabbit and Toothpick trails. It begins with a short steady uphill with small technical sections.

As you approach the top of the hill the trail flattens out and continues to descend and then ascend again. If you can carry your speed, there are plenty of opportunities to get airborne. Next, Caterpillar wraps around the hillside and then descends into some smooth and tight switchbacks. After crossing the 2060 road, the trail ends up near Queen of Hearts and then the White Rabbit trailhead parking lot.

This trail has something for every level of rider.

Beginners, if you just spent all that money for your new bike but Timewarp up on top is way too intimidating, and Catwalk and BTI further down are also just a little too much for your skill level,1 get yourself over to Caterpillar from fire road Loop rd 2060. Caterpillar has everything you want in a smooth predictable singletrack!
