Description

The bottom half of Snakeroot rides like doubletrack. This portion is a steady climb (but not too bad) and has almost no technical sections. The top half of Snakeroot gets pretty steep and has some seriously nasty switchbacks(the switchbacks are why it gets the double diamond rating - take away the switchbacks and it's an intermediate trail). You need a lot of skill to negotiate all of the switchbacks and most riders have to dismount at some point.

Great downhill flowing trail with a couple technical switchbacks. Simply awesome.
