”
Closed during inclement weather to prevent trail degradation. Open 7 am until sunset.
Description
From the main trailhead, head down multi-use trail #1 for a minute until you see a sign on your left for Trail A. From there, simply enjoy the cross country riding. The first 2 miles are fairly uneventful but joyful riding. It is mostly flat well maintained singletrack.
Around the 2 mile mark there's a nice descent into the back part of the park. There are a couple bridges over some creeks and there are one or two more meaningful elevation changes. Again, it's nothing too serious, but nothing you can your carry momentum up.
This goes on for another mile or so until you make a decent climb back up. A little more singletrack winding through the woods and you'll see mile marker 4.5. At this point, you'll soon be dumped back out on to the multi-use trail. Roundtrip back to the parking lot clocks in under 5 miles, but the trail itself is calculated at 3.7. From the multi-use trail there are numerous options to also explore. Hopefully you picked up a trail map and can head to some of the more adventurous trails.
