Description

North Mocassin Trail begins on the Ridge Road (#020) with an easy climb into the woods on dirt singletrack.

The trail then turns down and gets rocky, with another short climb interrupting the descent.

If for any reason you should lose the trail, look for blue diamond markers on the trees.

Near the bottom, the trail crosses a large open meadow. Follow the main cow trail here and stay right of the gully and the buck fence enclosure for the best way to the road.
