This loop just never gives up—there are no lulls in the ride. You are constantly either climbing up or tearing down the trail. Be prepared to go over logs. I counted about 25 last time I rode this route. They range from shin high to waist high.

MASS Superseries has a yearly race here. The trails are very well kept even after multiple weather events.

I start from the very rear parking lot behind the school and located near the school bus depot. The trailhead is located in the back corner of the lot.

Intermediate/Difficult Intermediate/Difficult

It's blue. If you like technical, it's 3 stars. Rothrock and Cooper's Gap are baseline for awesome. Nesh is really great, for what it is. Apr 20, 2016

fun spot. only difficult section would be the bowtie though IMO, other than that its generally pretty intermediate/blue. lots of logs. the trail itself is confusing with lots of intersections - I got lost many times, turned around a lot, and had to use my GPS map to get back on the loop. there are markings but they're unclear, multiple colors...on both sides of trees. I tried to make sense of them with no luck. watch out for dirtbikes and trail runners. they ride at the bottom by the creek and sometimes come up the trail. almost got crushed by one ripping through the opposite way of the loop. I didn't ride everything there, but form my experience it's not a very challenging trail. Frankly i found it kinda boring, there really arnt any features other than logs. The climbs arn't technical and the decents don't flow. Sep 18, 2018
