This is a great way to access the North Branch Nature Center Trail system. Most people start at the top (north end) and ride down to the rest of the trails. There are no designated parking spots at the top, but you can park for free at the Nature Center at Rte 12, bike north a bit and take a right on Gould Hill rd.

Ride up the hill for 20/30 minutes depending on how much pepper is on your steak, and bare right on Sparrow Farm Rd - you'll see the trailhead on your right in a big field. The trail takes you through the field, on a long wooden bridge, and then through some rocky/rooty singletrack woods(slippery when wet!). It then meanders alongside some other beautiful fields, and then drops down to connect with the rest of the trail system.

This trail tends to be pretty navigable, but not quite as pristinely maintained as the rest of the system. There can be slippery gravelly rocks on steep sections - go carefully. Some folks climb it, but most people go downhill. No berms or jumps.
