Description

The beginning of this trail can be accessed where the trail first crosses Allie Canyon road near the highway. There is a trail marker and turn off near a gate further up the road, but the connector is significantly degraded by erosion and should not be used.

After getting onto the trail, you'll need to suffer through about a mile of steep, rocky and slick climbing. It will be an extended hike a bike exercise. The trail eventually levels off once you top out on the ridge line. The main ATV trail will cross a couple of other ATV trails that take you closer to Bear Canyon reservoir and a few stock tanks, but the main trail will continue with a gradual climb until it fades out near the top of a peak.

While not exactly a fun or thrilling ride, it does afford great views of the surrounding Black Range and PA range peaks and makes for great panoramic photos.
