Need to Know

Best place to park is at the intersection of 95th St. and blue River Road. You can also park up top outside of HCA's gate and ride in from there. The easiest way is to probably just access it from the bottom via Underworld.

Description

This trail is owned by the Heartland Conservation Alliance and was built by Urban Trail Co. It was originally Jackson County property, but they auctioned it off a few years ago. Fortunately, HCA bought the land and is undertaking conservation efforts to improve the forest. They are eventually going to name the trail, but for the time being, they call the property the Heartland Observation Preserve a.k.a. HOP. It is all singletrack and mint for hiking and biking. There is a good amount of flow and downhill on this trail with some awesome views.
