Description
Starting from where Myers intersects with Boulder Bluff Rd, you enter hilly prairie lands. The rocks get larger as you go. There are some short descents and short technical climbs that will test your skills and fitness. Near the guardhouse to the north, you'll come to a rocky descent that has multiple lines, if you have enough speed you can send it and make that a descent a drop, if that's your thing, easy line is to the far left, the far right is loose.
After that, there is one more technical climb and then a comparatively easy ride back to Boulder Bluff. This section is known as Section 4. (Sections 1, 2, and 3 are in the South)
Cross Boulder Bluff Road and continue on the trail, down a rocky descent and back up. There will be a technical climb, and then it rolls back down. There is a short flowy section through a mostly dry creek bed. Then some switchbacks up a hill and back down, there will be some flat and a few more climbs, when you'll get to a section of prairie trail that winds you up a hill with a solitary locust tree at the top.
This is a good spot to take a break and check out the view. As you look to the east you'll see a rock kicker on the left, there is a line just to the right of that kicker that takes you to a drop (alternate line not mapped) If you follow the map, you can take the kicker and the trail curves right, into a steep descent, and there are three jumps you can take left is the smallest right is the largest. This area is known as "the chute." The Chute concludes section 5.
As you continue into Section 6 you'll be greeted by rocks and more rocks, eventually leading you to a gap jump, don't worry you got this. Head down the rocky descent, roll the big rock, give it two or three pedal strokes, and send it. Or just take the alternate line to the left. After the gap jump, guess what? MORE ROCKS. Eventually, you get through all the rocks, and you'll be on a prairie trail that runs parallel to the fence. After a while, you'll miss the rocks. Eventually, this will lead you back to the intersection of Myers Road and Boulder Bluff Road.
