Description

This trail runs from the Sunset Loop Trail east to FR 618.

It starts out deceptively easy with smooth, gentle downhill on packed dirt. But after about 1/2 mile, the trail becomes increasingly rocky and difficult. Non-technical riders (like the author) will be pushing their bikes through most of the second half of the route. There are ups and downs, but the general grade (after the 1st 1/2 mile) is gaining elevation. Eventually, the trail comes out at FR 618.

The return trip is either back along the same trail, or via OHV Road #09202Y which starts about 1 mile south on FR 618. This alternate route is much smoother 2-track.
