Overview
These singletrack trails include all levels (green to black), moderate climbing, nice views, and fast and technical descents with many optional features. A little bit of everything.
Description
The route starts by climbing up
Blackridge by the reservoir. Note that during summer months, it is $15 to park at the reservoir. Parking on adjacent streets is mostly fine and free (pay attention to parking permit signs).
After climbing up
Blackridge, continue south, climbing up
Eric's Trail at the intersection. Stay on
Eric's Trail, eventually passing the exit only of
Hardlick and reaching the intersection with
Mustang. From here, continue climbing up
Mustang. Towards the end of
Mustang, there is a very small rocky technical loop to a vista. Catch your breath here and enjoy an open view of the whole valley and Wasatch range. Continue up just a bit more before reconnecting clockwise on
Eric's Trail. Then continue towards the top of
Mojo.
Enjoy a fun but brief moment of downhill on
Mojo. At the end of
Mojo, take
Mosey clockwise and continue climbing to
Rawhide. Make the final push up
Rawhide to
Hardlick.
Finally, all the climbing will be rewarded. Advanced riders looking for more of a challenge can hike-a-bike up a little more for some bonus A-lines. You'll know them when you see them. Blast down
Hardlick back to
Eric's Trail. Take
Eric's Trail north back to the intersection near the reservoir, but stay high on
Diamondback this time. Continue on
Diamondback up and over the ridge. At the intersection with
Sidewinder, take
Sidewinder back and down around the mountain. This will meet back up with
Blackridge and back to where you started.
