3 Mile is no longer three miles long. It is just over a mile due to the development of the Wilds campground. The singletrack weaves through some pines, with some nice overlook opportunities. Beware of the highwalls as the trail skirts the edge at times. It has some nice descents with techy sections of root and rocks. It concludes with a finish at a reclamation lake that sits back in the woods below the campground. The return back up to elevation and the singletrack is an old doubletrack haul road that can get quite muddy at times.
