Description

This new climbing trail helps to ease some of the traffic on Prime Cut and the road. On top of that, the lower 3/4 of the trail is an awesome and easy grade, making it super easy to get to the top. The upper 1/4 has steep dips and climbs around pots and washes that are pretty soft in places. They are interesting features but totally disrupt the earlier awesome climbing flow. As of early May 2024, the trail is all the way to the top, but perhaps there is still a little work to be done. This is a great option to gain entry to the E4 (New Downhill) rip. Be forewarned, the climb up Chutes & Ladders to the start of the downhill is a beast.
