Need to Know

Eastern trailhead is at the sports fields off Pruitt Road.

Description

The easternmost section of the Spring Creek Nature Trail connecting Spring Creek Road to the Montgomery County Preserve Trailhead. This is the easternmost section for the 14 mile Spring Creek Nature Trail, which has been submitted in main sections broken up by road crossings or key intersections.

This is the longest section of uninterrupted trail, going through the forest in fast smooth singletrack. Their trail is well marked, but there are a number of unmarked offshoots that you'll want to be sure to keep an eye out for the blue blazes to make sure you don't get off track. This section starts (or ends) with a small section of Spring Creek Road, so keep an eye out for the blue markings telling you where to turn off into nature.
