Description

Getting There
Start at the intersection of HWY 260 and Forest Road 50 in Heber-Overgaard. Continue on FR 50 for 0.7 miles. You'll pass 2 cattle guards including the cattle guard at the intersection of FR 50 and HWY 260. The trailhead on the right is just before the 3rd cattle guard. If you see Pine Loop or Heber Hollow then you've gone too far.

The Trail
From the parking lot and trailhead begin west on the trail. This downhill section won't last for long so keep as much speed as you can for the next uphill section. Watch out for the sandy section at the bottom of the downhill. Pedal up the steep uphill section. The trail will turn right and you'll have a last gentle uphill section and now the trail is mostly downhill from here. This downhill section is about 0.6 miles long. Eventually, you'll come to the Pasture Trail intersection. Continuing straight will put you on Pasture Trail going clockwise. Going right will take you out to FR 50 by the way of pasture trail going counter-clockwise.
