Description

Getting There
From the intersection of HWY 260 and Forest Road 50 in Heber-Overgaard continue south on Forest Road 50 for 3.3 miles. The parking area for the trailhead will be on the left side of the road.

The Trail
From the parking lot find the trailhead and begin on the trail heading southeast. Immediately the trail begins heading uphill. This first section is the hardest and most aggressive of the uphill section so you get all of the hard pedaling out of the way first. After getting to the top of the hill the ponderosa pines will be replaced with sagebrush, juniper and pinyon pines.

The rest of the way out is a very gentle uphill grade. Eventually you'll see an option to turn left or to continue straight. To continue on 7th Heaven go straight. The left turn here is 9583X and will take you back to FR 50. Once you get back to the ponderosa pines you'll be close to the end of the trail. 7th heaven ends when it meets up with FR 51 -East Buckskin. Turn around here and enjoy the fun downhill all the way back to the trailhead.
