Need to Know

The south end of this passage isn't accessible by vehicle.

Description

This passage of the AZT is commonly ridden in combination with Passage 16 for a long day or great bikepacking overnighter.

The southern end of this segment begins at the AZT rain capture station. This is the best place to get water if you are combining this with Passage 16.

It begins with a flowing downhill and a moderate climb. The remaining trail is almost entirely downhill. Cue the fun trails and happy grins. Limited rocks make this a place you can find your rhythm. The trail ends at Picketpost Trailhead parking lot.

Don't park in the lot overnight as it does get locked at dawn. Parking outside the locked gate is an alternative.
