The trail starts at the junction between the Mahogany and Valley trails, and immediately goes into a switchback. Soon the trail comes to a junction, and riders stay to the right going uphill. The trail climbs again for a few hundred feet, before coming to another junction with the Rattlesnake trail. The trail stay right and begins climbing steadily through a series of switchbacks and long straight climbs. Closer to the top, in the rocky areas, there are a few alternate lines of more advanced difficulty (rock rolls, etc.). The trail goes through a few more switchbacks before coming to an end at the junction with the Blue View trail.
