Description

This is a very fun, somewhat technical descent with rock gardens, rock rolls, a few optional gap jumps, and more.

Start at the Lyons Reservoir Road. The trail entrance is on the left (west) side as you are facing downhill. There's a huge rock roll (optional) to start with. Descend until the end of the track on the map.

Where the trail splits, the left fork is the remainder of Lightning. The right fork is the very advanced Domer trail. All trails end at the Lyons Lake fire road, where you can ride east back to the lower lot and climb the Lyons Reservoir Road to the start again.
