Overview
This route is a mix of gravel riding and the trail system. A great e bike route. The gravel climbing once leaving the
Greenbelt Trail will get the better of anybody, the stand alone Gravel route is available in the new San Luis Valley Gravel Guide coming out Fall 2022, but the singletrack side of this ride is full mountain bike. You'll appreciate mountain bike gears on those climbs.

Description
This ride starts by exiting Rito Seco park and heading down past the now in remission gold mine. You'll take a right and another right before connecting to the singletrack,
Cerro Escarpado. This is a steep climb up connecting to the
Greenbelt Trail.
Greenbelt Trail will dump you on too Baleroy Road which starts a big gravel climb to Battenburg Meadows. Battenburg Meadows will connect you to your singletrack descent of
Rito Cerveza.
