Built in 2021 as a reroute of the much shorter segment that departed from the main trail, heading up valley, this trail ends at hub of trails including Hunter Valley North, Hunter Valley South, and Hunter Creek Trail. Use this as an alternate option when descending the full Upper & Lower Plunge trails (aka Sunnyside trail), or as an option in either direction if riding a loop with Hunter Valley North and other valley floor trails.
