Overview

This is a 75-mile loop, mostly made of gravel, which takes you around and through Linville Gorge.

Description

Beginning in Morganton, this loop can be ridden clockwise for a gnarly climb up old NC Highway and >20 miles of gravel descent, or counterclockwise for a somewhat easier ride. Water is often hard to come by on the rims of the gorge, so make sure to do your research and come prepared.
