Overview

Woods Mountain is an annual MTB race that puts you in the backcountry of the Pisgah National Forest. Rolling over rugged mining roads, classic Pisgah singletrack, cursing climbs and giggling descents, this course will test your skills and desire as you explore the intoxicating terrain of the Pisgah National Forest.

You must park at Woodlawn Work Center, not Coats American.

Starting at America Tread Village rd. take a left onto American Tread rd. • Left on Hwy 221/226
• Right on Huskins Bracy rd.
• Right on F.S. 469
• Left on F.S. 469 A
• Left on trail 204- Harris Creek Horse trail
• Straight on F.S. 1073
• Right on F.S. 104
• Straight on trail 218- Woods Mountain trail
• Right on trail 204- Harris Creek Horse trail
• Right on F.S. 469
• Right on F.S. 469 A
• Left on trail 204- Harris Creek Horse trail
• Straight on F.S. 1073
• Left on trail 440/218 Woods Mountain/ MST trails • Right on Green Mountain Rd.
• Cross Hwy 221/226
• Straight on F.S. 150 C
• Straight on Good Rd.
• Left on American Tread rd.
• Left onto America Tread Village rd.
