Park in a turnout on Fullen Road, just after the junction with Avery-Sheep Ranch Road. Temps can be hot in summer, so bring water. Watch your speed on the narrow sections, as a fall might have high consequences. And donate to the Arnold Rim Trail System if you can!

This trail packs a lot of fun into a short ride. Start at the parking area just after the start of Fullen Road. The trail starts right at the back of this dirt parking area.

Follow the singletrack downhill through a pine forest, with tons of bear clover on the sides of the trail. You'll cross a small seasonal creek, then continue on a mostly downhill trail bench cut into a steep hillside.

The trail makes its way around several hillsides, and crosses several small ravines. Manzanita bushes begin to dominate the scenery. Some of these crossings can be a bit technical, and there are some technical rocks on the trail. The singletrack section ends with a short uphill to a lefthand switchback, then begins a moderate climb on doubletrack into a forested area.

There is a trail marker on the right where the San Domingo section of trail continues out to Highway 4. Stay left here and remain on this loop to get back to your car. Climb the doubletrack and keep left, which will take you to a short fire road section. Turn right on this fire road, and climb back to Avery Sheep Ranch Road.

From Avery-Sheep Ranch Rd, you can turn left and descend on the road to the parking area, or you can continue your ride on nearby trails.
