Lake Leschenaultia is open all year round and is a popular recreational area offering walk trails, bbq facilities, swimming and canoe hire in summer. With this much to do, it's worth making a weekend of it and camping overnight.

The gates open at 8.30am (8am on Saturday and Sunday for breakfast at the cafe) and close at sunset plus 30mins all year round.

Description

While the lake is lovely to swim in summer, the trails are best in winter where a bit of moisture holds them together and the run is faster. This is not a place you want to ride with fast tyres with minimal grip.
