Need to Know

Clinton, Arkansas is the nearest city (15 minute drive) with most all amenities. The property is leased for hunting so take precaution during hunting season and wear orange

Description

If you start this side of the Bluffline Loop Trail from the Double Drop Falls trailhead, you'll travel mostly downhill through smooth forested singletrack with some rocky sections to keep you on your toes. There are fantastic views of the Archey Fork Valley once you are down on the bluffs including a few breathtaking overlooks.

About halfway down the trail is access to the Pocketbook backcountry campsite where you'll find peaceful seclusion with room for a few tents. Make sure to sign in on the campsite log at the trailhead and bring enough water if you're planning to camp at Pocketbook as there is no reliable water at the site. The trail ends at an intersection with the Stoneroller trail.

Did several trails in this area. Trees across trail were the worst I saw today. Cleaned small items. 6mi
