Description

The first part of this trail crosses a rock field several times including once before the start of Rodeo. The trail through the rock field has been smoothed out with some large lines to make it possible to ride through. One of the switchback corners in the rocks has several stairs making it a challenge both ways. It is a challenging, but possible climb up to the Oakley Ridge Trail.

Once up there, most bikers will want to go over to the overlook before heading down. The views of Kamas Valley and Mt. Timp are great.

The trail continues along the top of the ridge and is a hike-a-bike (with short rideable sections) until it leaves the ridge. The last part on the Seymore Traverse Trail descends to Seymore Canyon Trail. It is less steep, but narrow and technical.
