Description
A paved two-way bike path hugging the 50 through the city of Meyers. Impressive bridge at the end of the trail passing over the Upper Truckee River. Beautiful, well-built boardwalk paralleling the Lake Tahoe Golf Course driving range.
The bike path connects to
Sawmill Bike Path for a longer ride into South Lake Tahoe via Lake Tahoe Boulevard or for access to Tahoe Mountain trails.
Frequent cracks in the pavement (every 100 ft or so) make the trail bumpy for road bikes, though doable. A nice ride for hardtails.
Expect frequent stops through Meyers due to side streets and businesses. Parking available at the intersection of Cirugu Street and the 50.
