Description

This trail cuts along the base of foothills and mountains, with excellent close views of spires, an arch, and a variety of Sonoran Desert cacti.

As of April 2021, there is a short section in the middle of this trail that was a bit overgrown, but was still possible to see where the trail goes with some care.

There are no other trails yet mapped on MTB Project quite like this one, in the Ajo area. Access via Batamote Basin Southeast. The terminus of this trail is quite close to Pipeline Road (BLM 8100) and is a quick ride up a more-traveled trail to get back to the road.
