Description

Constructed in late 2020, the Lone Lake Park Mountain Bike Trail consists of a flowing singletrack trail through the Big Wood areas of the park. This area is named due to the significant numbers of fully grown Maples, Oaks, and Basswoods.

The trail has riders consistently either climbing or descending with numerous winding areas. Flat turn-around points were used to make the trail accessible to all skill levels, prevent erosion, and reduce the need to bring in outside materials or heavy equipment.

Most areas are built into the hillside and have been designed to dry quickly by easily moving water off the path to the near by wetlands. There are a limited number of intersections with informal walking only trails.

The bike path is well marked but riders should be sure the read the trail and be aware of any pedestrians that may be in area.

E-biking...nice flow and I agree that you can make it as hard as you want. Not crowded. Good facilities. 8mi — 0h 45m
